Send us a text President Biden and the Democrat Party have now made it abundantly clear that they are no longer the party of the working class. Welcome to the NHC GOP Podcast Friday update, I am Reuel Sample. The people who get stuck with the bill? The working class – supposedly those who the Democrats promise to work form. Those who never went to college, those who went into the trades, those who enlisted in the military to serve our country, those who went to college and paid off their debts, high schoolers getting their first jobs – in short – all tax payers will have to foot the bill for the President’s obvious vote-buying move. And it is not just today’s workers on the hook. This bill becomes part of our national debt that will take generations to pay down. The problem – of course – is that student loans are not actually canceled. The Federal Government merely guarantees the student loans – it does not actually lend the money. Students receive their loans through private institutions who are more than happy to make the offer – because these banks and lending institutions know that they will get their money back no matter what – either through the student who supposedly promised to repay the loan or through the Federal Government. Send us a text The courts are starting to respond to Republican influence. At the Supreme Court level, the left has lost several cases that in prior years would have been written off as insurmountable for conservatives. From the Dobbs v Jackson case that returned the issue of abortion back to the states to the ruling in Students for Fair Admission V Harvard in which the court decided that race-based admissions are against the constitution, Republicans have won significant cases in a court system that previously was highly stacked against them. In Louisiana, a Federal Judge issued an injunction that restricted the the administration from meeting and communicating with social media companies in response to a lawsuit brought on by attorneys-general in Louisiana and Missouri. The lawsuit says that the White House went too far in encouraging Twitter, Facebook and other outlets to muzzle free speech in regards to COVID and the elections. Here at home, the Republican controlled North Carolina Supreme Court restored voter ID laws that were passed by the legislature, struck down improper redistricting, and restricted voting by people with felony convictions. These three rulings will help ensure elections in our state are fair and according NC Senate President Pro Tem Phil Berger quote “cannot be exploited to fit the political whims of left wing Democrats.” In a time where we see the results of the radical left’s invasion and almost total control of education and the media, these victories are almost miraculous. Send us a text When it comes to the lie and distractions that originate from the liberal left and their allies, you only have three choices. Welcome to the Friday update on the NHC GOP Podcast, I am Reuel Sample. As the political race heats up, unsurprisingly the Democrats, their far left liberal allies, and the main steam media are pushing narratives that are quite frankly out and out lies. They do so because they cannot win on issues that are at the forefront of North Carolinians. This push from the liberal left is neither unexpected nor a surprise. Under President Trump we endured four years of lies about treasonous actions – all of which were debunked. Under President Biden the press has virtually ignored the failing economy, rising prices, the immigration crisis, and the growing hostility around the world.
