Episode 3 featuring Keith Warren - 1 of 2
Manage episode 302450644 series 2982981
Keith Warren speaks his mind and backs it up with action. He has more outdoor TV show credits to his name than anyone we know with over 1,300 and counting. He explains why he still has the drive and passion to do more. His daughter, Matti, has joined him on many adventures and he couldn’t be happier to have her alongside.
When ROTM’s host, Keith Mark, first started hosting outdoor television, one of his role models was Keith Warren. They reminisce on how they met and how disappointed they have been over the years by many of the other hosts they met and worked with. Keith Warren never pulls punches and he speaks frankly about why “Taking The High Road” is the way he lives and why he thinks it’s more important today than ever.
Keith Warren explains how he feels we live in a world of “soft people” and how many of those people see hunters as “weird”. He embraces that term and declares that hunters are the minority because they are tough, not soft. He is concerned when hunters criticize other hunters or claim they aren’t “real hunters” because they use different techniques or tools. He feels hunters need to unite to protect hunting for future generations and they better act fast because the anti-hunters are busy chipping away at our rights every day.
