There's no end to the number of people who want to give you advice on parenting. Unfortunately, there's more poor advice in the world than helpful.

Just this morning I spoke with a mother who quoted a sign she saw in a therapists's office, "Be the parent you wish you'd had."

That phrase became the source of a deeper conversation about what it means to be a parent. I shared a more powerful approach to parenting with her that I'll share with you now. Enjoy :-)
