I am joined by the amazing - Maddie Laver! Yet another dance friend! Maddie and I danced together for several years back in the day. She’s now doing all the things. She is a producer and creative, currently working in Art Direction for Apple. She has 6 years of international production experience, with work ranging from direct-response ads to a 10-episode series on Amazon Prime Video. Maddie approaches her work from a human-first point of view and establishes seamless partnerships with her teams and contractors to create world-class content. Maddie was born in the US but lived, and was educated in Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver, Canada before moving back to the US. She currently lives and works in LA. I know a lot of my listeners are really interested in the producing role, as am I, so I’m super excited for everyone to hear Maddie's journey.

We chat about growing up in the US then moving to Canada, how College wasn't really for her, feeling lost and unsure what to do career-wise, stepping into the entertainment industry, what 16-year old Maddie would think of herself today, and her best advice for getting into the producing/entertainment scene.
