As another college football week ends yet another begins as the ACC heads into Week 9. But first, what transpired in Week 8? There was the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat. Five ACC teams are bowl eligible with two on the cusp as a win this weekend would clinch a spot. Will and Jim look at the latest AP and Coaches’ Polls, let you know when the first College Football Playoff rankings will be released and share Athlon Sports’ thoughts on where conference teams may be ‘bowling’.

The college football regular season is more than halfway through. Look for more teams to pull out all the stops in the remaining weeks to help them grab a slice of the pie.

We all took our eyes off of football as a major coaching change in men’s basketball was announced right before the season. That press conference is available on ACC Nation Radio. Will shares some thoughts.
