As Beyoncé summoned all the ladies to get in Formation in 2016, she also let us know Red Lobster was her choice of restaurant to dine after a pleasurable romantic encounter with her man, presumably her husband, Shawn Carter. Despite Mr. And Mrs. Carter’s support for the establishment, Red Lobster found itself on a list of other less desirable first date options circulating the internet this week. And while women and men all over the social media universe express their feelings about the date exclusion list, I think all restaurants are happy not to be ranked as Cheesecake Factory.
Regardless of your culinary or entertainment preference for a first date, being able to find love in this upside down bizarro-feeling world is a step in the right direction. Every day there’s a new headline that makes us scratch our heads. And some can only make us bow our head in prayer for those families who are not ok. We continue to pray for peace and freedom for all oppressed people throughout the world.
