BASS FORWARD THE REVOLUTION CAST #5 – S/Acht
For our fifth podcast episode, we present you a hard and heavy drum & bass live cut from "S/Acht", recorded at one of our Bass Forward The Revolution nights in September 2019 at the Gängeviertel in Hamburg.
„S/Acht“ started as a techno DJ back in the 90's and played in clubs like Stammheim Ost (Kassel), Cyberhouse (Hannover) and Infam (Göttingen). In the early 2000's, he quit DJing to focus on his passion for visuals as a VJ. With the Hamburg based label „Blackdata“, he produced visuals for T.Raumschmiere, Fightclub, Moonbootica, Drumbule, Hoch10 and WobWob.
After 15 years, „S/Acht“ had his comeback behind the decks, playing Miami bass at the Fusion Festival. Since 2017, he is frequently playing neurofunk-sets as a part of the Drumbule crew, in clubs like Hafenklang or VOID and at Festivals e.g. Off The Radar and Fusion.
