Our guest on today's episode is Ade Olufeko, a thought leader based in Lagos, Nigeria. Ade is an established speaker on digital media, developing technologies, humanities and innovation, having worked with major global brands and spoken around the world. He is also the curator of Visual Collaborative, an interesting collection of art shows, digital media, and interview collections. On this episode, we speak with Ade about his work and contributions to the world. Ade shares his insights on how to think deeply about our humanity and how we can learn from different cultures, climates, and socioeconomic situations. This conversation is sure to inspire and enlighten its listeners. I’m very grateful to have Ade here Diego, as he wants to show him the world and expose him to different cultures. We discussed Visual Collaborative, which is Ade’s diversely skilled company. They have a collection of interviews that span across all continents, professions, thoughts and beliefs. A very impressive collection of thoughtful works and interviews. Right before the global epidemic, VC wanted to go digital and experimented broadly, creating over ten collections of interviews. Diego also shares his love of astronomy, the Egyptian pyramids and the unique Nigerian heritage sites we look forward to seeing one day. Ade discussed his vision for a collective that would bring people from different walks of life together to discuss their experiences within the collective human condition. They wanted to create a platform for unfiltered content without sponsors controlling the content that was being released. As a result, they accomplished ten volumes that were entered into the Library of Congress. The content is currently open access and free for everybody, but it may not remain that way since content can become saturated if it's too common. Ade was thinking ahead as he commonly does, and ensuring the content will still be unique in the future.
