In the third hour, Dan Bernstein and Laurence Holmes were joined by Illini Inquirer publisher Jeremy Werner to discuss Illinois athletic director Josh Whiteman's view of the future of the university's athletic department amid Big Ten expansion. Bernstein and Holmes then reacted to former White Sox manager Tony La Russa's recent interview with the Sun-Times in which he explained his role as the club's special advisor. Later, during the High Noon segment, Bernstein and Holmes listened and reacted to Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford complain about how long head coach once Sean McVay rambled during a certain play call.
