Erika explains how she filmed Belly of the Beast over seven years and was able to gain such extraordinary access and intimate accounts from currently and formerly incarcerated people. She shares insight of how patience, passion and determination helped her and her team achieve change in the system and reparations for the victims of forced sterilizations.
