Egotot the pseudonym of Nico Rinker, a young DJ and producer from Stuttgart in the south of Germany. At 21, Nico already making his mark on Germany's techno scene. To Nico, techno is a community that brings people together under a common sound. Nico contributes to this community not only through his music but via his Schimmer Records and Liquid One record labels. Egotot translates to "ego death" in English. This is true about Nico's personality and how he approaches music. Nico found a path to techno music through reggae and acoustic music. It was upon a recommendation from a friend to attend a club that he found techno music.
