OVERVIEW : Over 5 years ago, Victoria, BC-based Hololabs ( @hololabs ) launched their indie rhythm dance game Floor Kids ( @FloorKidsCrew ) on Steam and Nintendo Switch . A collaboration between Hololabs and longtime creative partners Kid Koala ( @kidkoala ) and JonJon ( @JonJonAnimation ), Floor Kids represents the pure expressionism of a form like breakdancing translated to a videogame by a primary source in bboy JonJon animating as well as self-referencing the poses for the dance moves. Kid Koala did all the beats and sounds and Hololabs codemonkeyed all of it together.
