Consider the behaviour of the Pharisees in Matthew 23. What do you think motivated them to wear these righteous masks? 2. Why do you think the church is seen as hypocritical by outsiders? How can you avoid this? 3. If people have religious masks on, can that be removed? If so, how can this be done? Prayer Points: • Pray for authenticity in our faith. • Pray for God's assistance in examining our hearts for any areas of hypocrisy. • Pray for courage to stand firm in our faith and not conform to this world.
