Hola mi gente Fabulosa y Hermosa- aquí con una nueva edición especial para el mes de la herencia negra que se celebra en primordialmente en los Estados Unidos 🇺🇸 y Globalmente. El proposito de este podcast es en demostrar las similutes y diferencias entre Afrodescientes Panameñxs y Panameñxs Americanxs First-generation Panamanians and Panamanian Americans born in the USA. Madre, Esposa y Maestra que se conecto conmigo atraves de las redes sociales. Pues el nombre de mi podcast ha llamado la atencion y curiosidad de muchos debido a su significado generacional y particularmente en la cultura Panameña. Char es maestra con la especializacon en ESL (English as a second language) / Maestra de Secundaria (High School Teacher in ESL). Cuando Char no esta enseñado y educando a sus estudiantes, ella disfruta de pasear y viajar con su familia. Lo que algunos llamarian First-generation Panamanians vs Panamanian Americans. Most Panamanians were nonwhites. Women outnumbered men among Panamanian immigrants by about one-third. The number of immigrant males per 100 females was very low in the 1960s, falling to 51 for Panama. The percentage of immigrants under 20 years of age was higher for males than for females; most female immigrants were between 20 and 49, many of them service, domestic, or low-paid, white-collar workers who immigrated to earn money to send home. Since 1962 the percentage of employed newcomers who are domestic servants has remained high, ranging from 15 to 28 percent. The entry of homemakers and children after 1968 was eased by the immigration preference system favoring family reunions.
