Is MPI® protected from lawsuits like a 401k?
Similar to other retirement plans like a 401k and IRA, MPI® is one of the most legislatively protected assets you can own from lawsuits, liens, creditors, or judgements. Though state-law governs insurance, most provide legislative protection, making it difficult to sue a life insurance plan and the cash value inside. For business owners and individuals alike, the threat of a lawsuit is always on our minds because what we have taken years to build could be taken in a blink of an eye.
