Many of us expect too much of ourselves on the golf course. We have it in our heads that the PGA Tour pros never miss a shot, or we have lofty expectations for our own games and aren't realistic. By understanding and knowing performance benchmarks we can no only relax and see our game in a correct light, but we can make sure we are working on the part of our game that is the weakest.
