Ido has confounded and leading Amwell (Nasdaq:AMWL) as CEO from 2006, one of the pioneers in providing telemedicine. He is a physician by background with over 25 years of experience as a repeat entrepreneur, founding and leading imdSoft, TurnKey and now Amwell.
Throughout the episode, the recurring theme was of the importance of perseverance due to the sheer number of challenges any entrepreneur's faces while also constantly making work an enjoyable and fun environment.
In particular, we talked with Ido about the advantage (if any) of being a physician entrepreneur, his learnings from selling both to large enterprises and also direct to consumers, and why he prefers not to move employees around different sites rather than finding local talent.
