Taylor Swift's Re-Release of Red (Taylor's Version)

When Taylor Swift's music was sold out from underneath her, she was devastated. All of the lyrics that she wrote at 15 with her pen and paper were now under the ownership of popular manager Scooter Braun. Upon learning this, Taylor Swift got to work and started re-recording these popular albums with each song title including "(Taylor's Version)" at the end. The re-recordings sound nearly identical to the original tracks with the exception of better production and a more mature voice. On Nov. 19 of this year, Taylor re-released Red, her popular album originally released in 2012. This is the second album that Taylor re-recorded and re-released with new artwork giving her 100% ownership. Taylor has utilized social media in such a strategic way to keep fans excited about an album that was originally released 10 years ago. Whether it's TikTok trends, Starbucks collaborations, or short films, Red (Taylor's Version) is the topic of conversation everywhere.
