When Alessa becomes pregnant, it brings up Chris’ deep-rooted trauma surrounding fatherhood. Upon discovering that their fetus craves human blood, they visit her father, Maddox, for answers. However, the blind Veteran disapproves of Chris and when he learns about the fetus, he awakens Alessa’s mother, Cerise, a demon trapped inside his basement. She restores his vision and demands that Maddox deliver the fetus as a sacrifice. In order to survive, the young couple must convince Maddox to turn against Cerise and decide whether their child is worth saving... or sacrificing.
