On today’s show I welcome Sheena Purcell. Sheena is a wife, mum to three boys and a very talented jeweller living in Montreal. In this episode, she shares her birth stories which take us from a crazy hospital experience in Japan, to a beautiful birth with birth attendants outside the system, to a birth in midwifery care. Sheena also worked as a doula in Montreal hospitals for 8 years and explores her reasons for choosing to no longer attend births in hospitals except for close friends and family.
