This episode as Ridley Scott is at it again releasing a new film, this time reuniting with Joaquin Phoenix, sticking a funny hat on him, creating some typically huge Ridley Scott battle scene and calling it Napoleon. This time with a Scott release we are focusing on the films star, Joaquin Phoenix and choose our favourite films of his. Of course I can't talk about one of the most interesting actors on the planet alone. My guest this episode is Matt from the Matt and Mark Movie Show.

Matt's choice is arguably one of the sweetest sci fi films about AI where the end of the world is not under threat, Spike Jonze's Her. On this one we talk about how the film marries up its sci fi world to rom com structure. We talk about obviously how amazingly Joaquin Phoenix is but also how incredible Scarlet Johansson is by only using her voice. Plus we talk about sweary computer game aliens, dead cats and unfortunately named Pokemon. IMDB page
