While the city of Port Orange is not Daytona Beach, they are close enough to where the uninitiated could easily be confused by the two. Even though Dunes Brewing is in Port Orange, it is just over the Dunlawton Bridge in a tiny little portion of Port Orange that sits on the barrier island completely surrounded by Daytona Beach Shores. Since opening in 2021 (almost underneath the Dunlawton bridge), Dunes has been releasing an amazing amount of beers and special events--even including a full day of Luchador wrestling! I spoke to Dunes Co-founder Michael Benedict and Sasha Staton, Advertising Manager for Benedict Marketing, about the creation of the brewery, the beers they like to make, and much more. Listen in...
