Summer with the Psalms - Psalm 13: The Psalms give us language for every situation in life. Praise for God’s greatness, thanksgiving for His goodness, petition in our need and lament in our pain and sorrow. At times I am shocked by the audacity of the Psalmist in lament and wonder, “Am I really allowed to say that to God?” Yet, I am also comforted by the invitation, permission and model the Psalms give to express our most raw and real emotions in the safe presence of God. Join us at 10am as we explore a prayer of lament found in Psalm 13. Let’s invite God’s Word to tutor us to trust His unfailing love in the midst of all life throws at us.
