Cultural workers for Palestine is an interview series that airs monthly on Radio AlHara and on a network of community radio stations around the world. For the March 2024 edition we hear from cultural worker and musician, Karim, of Checkpoint 303. In this interview Karim speaks on the process that launched the project in the early 2000s and the cross borders collaboration that has involved many artists. This project broke ground in sampling field recordings from occupied Palestine and mixed them with electronic music.
