Jane, who adored animals as a girl, traveled to Gombe where she spent three months observing, and spending time with the primates. Cristina Mittermeier, a Marine Biologist, activist and conservation photographer. Cristina founded the International League of Conservation Photographers, and is the co-founder of SeaLegacy, a non-profit organization dedicated to the protection of our oceans.
