The Ministry of Health, Wellness, and Elderly Affairs has been spearheading island-wide activities throughout October in support of Breast Cancer Awareness and Education. As part of this initiative, a series of Breast Cancer Awareness Outreach programs have been held through community health fairs at Wellness Centres across Saint Lucia. Recently, the Laborie Wellness Centre hosted a health fair, providing residents with free health screenings and educational sessions aimed at raising awareness of breast cancer, promoting early detection, and encouraging proactive health management.
