Under the new covenant established by Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross, we have been completely forgiven of all our sins—past, present, and future. The Lord does not keep a record of our wrongs or punish us with sickness or challenges when we fall short. This is the essence of God’s unmerited favor towards us!
