Growing Storytellers: A Helicopter Stories Podcast for anyone who works with children aged 2-7 years old.
Episode 8 looks at how Helicopter Stories deepens children's understanding of stories as they regularly tell, listen to and act out in the stories of their peers. We also explore how we can support chiildren's growth as storytellers, by ensuring that the children are surrounded by a rich story diet.
In this episode we also talk about The Story Basket- a programme of audio only stories we have created to support the development of a language rich environment in the classroom.
