Thank you for calling GIH where we instigate growth one call at a time where we utilize antiquated technology to deliver 3-minute leadership lessons every week day! This is message #152 and I am Aaron Havens.

Life is the craziest thing. One minute you can be cruisin’ down the road all good and fine and then one minute later the road suddenly twists and turns and your momentum is gone. When was the last day you can remember living a “perfect”, “issue-free”, “all good” day? Wait… you can name one? Wow, tell me your secret!

If you’re anything like me, which you probably are, life seems to be violent and relentless at times. The good news though, is that life is hard only with days ending in “Y”. Haha. Yeah, momentum can progress and elevation can be snapped from the strangest and most unexpected places. If this beast is coming for your throat, I’ve got a secret hack that can get you ahead. Want to hear it? It’s actually pretty simple.

Small wins build momentum. Yeah, it’s that simple. If on this road of life you see a small win… STOP IMMEDIATELY AND GATHER IT UP! Dust it off. Claim it as yours and party on! No win is too small. And when you look in your bag at the end of the day, take each small win out… examine it… clean it up… name it… and put it on your mantle to celebrate what happened today. When we focus on the small wins, our momentum to take down the relentless pursuit of the life sucking moments will build, we will recognize what is good and right, we will see the positive results of our purposed calories spent and it will sling shot us into tomorrow.

Today my friends. Please don’t over look any of the small wins. In fact, go looking for them. The more you look, the more you’ll find!
