18 years into pastoral ministry, Michael Acker spontaneously got hired into one of the Fortune 500 companies in the executive world. He wrote a massively successful book on public speaking and authored several more, and he went into full-time corporate training. Last year, he realized he wanted to combine his ministry expertise with his corporate expertise, two worlds that do not traditionally intersect.
On one hand, Michael knows God has an exact plan, and on the same hand, he asserts we must acknowledge the tension between God's preordained plan and our free will; that whatever you do, you do it heartily for the glory of God (Colossians 3:17). There are times that God directly readjusts, and times that He allows us to wander within the boundaries of the hedge of His protection.
