Rich, Cam and Drew hand out NBA offseason grades for the teams in the Western Conference, talk with the reigning Ivy League POY, Cade Pierce, and discuss the Foo Fighters.
Pierce just finished competing for Team USA in the U23 3x3 Tourney in Mexico, helping the squad qualify for this year’s World Cup. Last season as a sophomore for Princeton, he averaged 16.6 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game. He led the Ivy in FG% (54.6), finished fifth with FT% of 76.7, and made 34 percent of his threes. In terms of metrics, Cade led the conference in both PER (27.3) and win shares (5.6), finished in the top three for offensive rating (126.6), defensive rating (98.0), and REB% (17.2), and finished in the top 10 for plus-minus (4.9) and AST% (20.2).
