Andrea Young, the executive director of the ACLU in Georgia, is a lifelong advocate of voting and civil rights in the United States. Having participated in the Selma to Montgomery marches with her parents at nine years old, she has dedicated her life to ensuring the protection of civil liberties for marginalized groups in the United States. Georgia was of great importance in the 2020 Presidential Election, where President Joe Biden beat Donald Trump by only 12,000 votes.
