Nebraska basketball is the lone undefeated team in the state as far as hoops go and the Huskers carry that into a Sunday showdown with Creighton.

But before we get there the Husker247 HoopsCast wants to dive into the Huskers most recent wins, the 7-0 start and just how real this team might before its biggest game of the year — a home matchup against its rival Creighton.

Conversation starts with Mike Schaefer and Brian Christopherson rehashing the Duquesne and Cal State Fullerton games, where the Huskers again showcased an ability to not just get to the free throw line but also knock those shots down.

The two also discussed how Jamarques Lawrence seems to be getting comfortable and that Keisei Tominaga is coming off his best game and seems to be in the flow of the offense without needing to force shots.

Then after a quick timeout the podcast returns to talk Creighton. How do the Huskers matchup? Who can play a big role in this game? Can Nebraska get Ryan Kalkbrenner out of sorts like it did last year? Will the Huskers be able to make timely shots?

Both Christopherson and Schaefer passed on making score predictions just yet, but each gave their early week feeling for how things might play out.
