5:00 pm The Houston Botanic Gardens opened up in September last year on Park Place near 45 south with a two year reconstruction of 132 acres of the old Glenbrook Golf Course into 8 separate magnificent gardens with their own ecosystems. This Thursday they unveiled Lightscape: an eye catching installation of light art that illuminates the night sky. HBG President Claudia Gee Vassar explains how the artwork came about.
