Packaging has many functions, including the preservation of food to extend shelf life. Sometimes it can be difficult to meet those requirements while still enabling circularity and recyclability of packaging. New innovations such as Siegwerk's new oxygen barrier coating can help achieve both. To give a brief overview of the benefits of this innovation, we are joined by Lothar Schäffeler, Vice President of R&D and Application Technology, and Circular Economy Project Manager Cathleen Hansohm.
