Welcome back to our regularly scheduled trip to the #Hellmouth! This week we are diving into Faith, Hope & Trick as well as Beauty and the Beasts. Our first episode introduces us to 3 new characters. Two of them will be important to this season and one of them will be important for not only the rest of Buffy, but also spinoff Angel.
We take a much more serious turn with the second episode Beauty and the Beasts which deals with teen dating violence. Joss Whedon does a very good job of depicting what the cycle of violence looks like and that even close friends may not know that the abuse is happening. October is #DomesticViolenceAwarenessMonth and it only seems appropriate that we close out October with this episode.
