We're back. (Kind of.)

It's the beginning of the awards season! Every September marks the beginning of the festival adventure of major players in the Oscar Race. It is only fitting that Layered Butter makes an appearance at the annual tradition that is the Toronto International Film Festival. Rod and Raf (along with the rest of the Layered Butter team) return to the movies and experience some of the major players looking make waves in this years Oscar gold. From Pablo Larrain's portrait of the late Princess Diana in Spencer to Julia Ducournau's fever dream body horror in the Palme D'or winning Titane to of course, Denis Villeneuve's massive space opera in Dune; we pack as much of the film festival has to offer over the course of that one week in September. What's going to make a splash? What's going to be forgotten? Whatever they are, nonetheless, it's damn good to be back at the movies.
