James "Midge" Ure OBE is a Scottish musician, singer-songwriter and producer. Known for his contribution to bands like Silk, Thin Lizzy, Visage and Ultravox, Midge has enjoyed a career spanning 40 years. His stage name, Midge, is a phonetic reversal of Jim.
