Luke 1:26-33
1.The Lord's word presents the gift of hope to us. (v.32-33)
(Genesis 3:15; Hebrews 2:14; Isaiah 7:14; 9:6)
2. Fulfilled prophecy is the assurance of the gift of hope. (v.31-35)
(Matthew 1:23; 1 Peter 1:3)
3.The gift of hope guarantees a glorious eternal future (v. 32-33, 37)
(John 3:16; 2 Timothy 4:18; Revelation 20:6)
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to His great mercy, He has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead," (1 Peter 1:3, ESV)
