2 Marietta Women Accused of Stealing Lottery Tickets

Two employees at the RaceTrac gas station on Windy Hill Road have been accused of stealing and scanning lottery tickets during their shifts. Adrienne Michele Jones, 44, and Heaven Noelle Long, 20, allegedly committed these acts on July 20 and July 27, resulting in significant financial losses for the station.

According to arrest warrants from the Cobb County Police Department, an internal investigation by RaceTrac revealed that over $1,000 was stolen on the 20th and more than $1,570 on the 27th. Both Jones and Long were apprehended, facing charges of counterfeit lottery tickets and influencing the winning of prizes. Jones was arrested on July 31, while Long followed on August 1. Both have since been released on $2,500 bonds each.
