My husband Bob and I delve into the festivities and traditions of the season, discussing how we continue to celebrate until January 6th, Epiphany Day, while still having our Christmas decorations up. We reminisce about the past year, our work and family life, including our daughter's wedding and the upcoming arrival of a new grandchild. We share our excitement about handing over our nearly completed show to PBS, planning for a possible book number two, and my recent participation in Cameo. We also discuss our plans and hopes for 2023, though we acknowledge that life often shapes our plans unexpectedly. In a light-hearted segment, we chuckle over various Portuguese New Year's superstitions, such as the importance of a man being the first to enter a house with his right foot, eating pork for good luck, and even wearing blue underwear! As we laugh and share, we hope that whatever traditions our listeners hold dear, their New Year is filled with laughter, love, abundance, and good health.
