Activity Description and Purpose

This educational activity delves into the latest clinical practices for managing geographic atrophy (GA), a severe form of dry age-related macular degeneration. Learners will gain an in-depth understanding of epidemiologic indicators, diagnostic imaging, and the pathophysiology of GA related to the complement cascade. Learners will also gain a deeper understanding of GA by reviewing a case study along with the expert presenters.
