These AI assistants don't replace human interaction, but they serve as an additional layer of support, making people feel heard and less alone. Initially hyped as groundbreaking, both devices struggled due to overpricing and underdelivering. With the rapid evolution of AI smartphones, these extra devices seem unnecessary. Though these early innovations didn't succeed, there may still be potential for better AI hardware in the future.
