Her experience comes from her and her husband raising five children, being “Nana” to 12 grandchildren and helping students, grades 1-12 develop life strategies inside and outside the classroom for over 21 years.

Years of careful observation of her students’ parent/child relationships brought insight that gave her a strong foundation for parenting strategies for her own children.

In her book, Parenting Your Kids with Purpose, she helps parents make the connection between the life strategies they use and how these affect the kind of adults their children become.
