It's another 2 weeks of the Monday Night War as we take a look at October of '95. On the WWF side of things, it's a busy month as we discuss the Shawn Michaels Syracuse incident with the "Thugs" as well as other WWF woes, Bret vs. Yankem in a STEEL CAGE, the WWF vs. the USWA, HHH begins burying people in 1995, a 20-Man Battle Royal, AVATAR, the Women's Title changes hands for the final time this go-round, as does the IC Title, not once - but twice in the same night as part of one of the worst PPVs in WWF history.

Then over in Turner-land the ice block has melted and we're introduced to... THE YET-TAY! We get back to back weeks of what to expect as part of the upcoming WCW Cruiserweight division, and the future looks bright with the likes of Guerrero, Malenko, and others. DDP takes his feud with Johnny B. Badd to the next level. Ric Flair convinces Sting to be his partner in his war against Arn Anderson & Brian Pillman. Macho Man insists on wrestling with one good arm. Plus, The Hulkster and the Giant have one last tussle before Halloween Havoc.

Yes, the Yetti and Avatar debuted the same week. Let that sink in.

We kick off this week's episode off by discussing that thing in Syracuse. Ya know, the one with Shawn Michaels vs. "The Thugs"? And I don't mean Tracy Smothers and the Dirty White Boy (R.I.P. Tracy). We take a look at the story in regards to what went down outside the night club and the ramifications it had on the health of Shawn Michaels and WWF booking.

• Arn Anderson & Brian Pillman battle Ric Flair in a Handicap Match. Will the Stinger have a change of heart and make this a 2-on-2 encounter?
• Eddy Guerrero vs. Chris Benoit, these guys get 9 minutes to steal the show!
• A scheduled match turns into a great angle involving TV Champion DDP taking on Johnny B. Badd
• Meng vs. Hoooo, "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan, how did this make it on Nitro?
• CALL THE HOTLINE! Scheme Gene capitalizes on the recent Shawn Michaels situation
• Promos from both Hulk Hogan and the Giant as they prepare for their SUMO MONSTER TRUCK battle.

We have a brief look at one of the worst PPVs in WWF history in the October '95 In Your House "Great White North" event. Results featuring 2 Intercontinental Title changes, Diesel defending against the Bulldog, and the debut.... err... umm... the PREMIERE of whhhhhp, Goldust.

We discuss the dumpster fire show, Vince McMahon's reaction, and all of the bad luck going around the WWF right now with the injuries to both Shawn and Taker, Diesel's failure as a drawing champion, the Goldust character falling flat, as well as Cowboy Bill Watts' abrupt departure.

WWF Monday Night Raw 10/23/95

• You can't go wrong when a 20-MAN BATTLE ROYAL kicks off your show! The winner meets the new champ Razor Ramon for the IC Title next week on Raw!
• It's the DEBUT of AVATAR. In what was to be a flashy debut of a clever gimmick portrayed by Al Snow, we see that sometimes things don't work out as we expect.
• Alundra Blayze recaptures the WWF Women's Title from Bertha Faye in a pretty solid encounter. No fooling!
• Jim Ross interviews Shawn Michaels about his recent incident, and beyond.
• And Bob Backlund campaigns in CANADA to become U.S. President. Oh, that wacky Bob.

WCW Monday Nitro 10/23/95

• IT'S THE DEBUT OF.... THE YET-TAY!!!!
• Sting & Lex Luger face Harlem Heat
• Eddy Guerrero & Jerry Lynn vs. Chris Benoit & Dean Malenko
• Brian Pillman makes a random appearance to continue his Loose Cannon shtick
• The one-armed Macho Man meets Kurasawa
• Plus, to close the go-home edition to Halloween Havoc '95, the Hulkster and the Giant duke it out as the Dungeon of Doom's Insurance Policy, the Yetti, arrives in WCW. God helps us all.
