The French Quarter Management District cleans up the FQ from behind the scenes.

The French Quarter Management District is an organization of residents and FQ businesses that are fixing the problems others won’t or can’t. Supported by local and state partners and working in conjunction with the City of New Orleans, FQMD is the group funding the Supplemental Police Patrols in the FQ, making $200K safety improvements to N. Rampart Street and installing a litter hotline and 300 new iron trash cans, among other initiatives. Jane Cooper, Board Member of the French Quarter Management District, joins Newell to discuss what’s happening in the FQ to get ready for our close-up.
