In 2018, Jay began producing his own weekly stand up comedy show "Weak with Jay Hunter". His energetic organic style led to him opening for nationally known comic Mat Alano-Martin and Carlos "Spanky" Hayes from Nick Cannon's Wild N Out. He has participated in the Bricks & Bridges Comedy Festival in Maine. Along with stand up, Jay is a member of NewsFlash Writers Table out of Grand Rapids, MI.
