S2 E13: Marion Pritchard
Manage episode 379545161 series 3402952
In the summer of 1942, when darkness cast its shadow, Marion Pritchard emerged as a beacon of hope.
Marion became a lifeline for Jewish children, finding hiding places, providing fake documents, and delivering essential supplies. Her actions, including the daring rescue of a family with three children, showed incredible dedication.
Marion's courage knew no bounds. By the end of WWII, Marion admitted to breaking nearly every commandment, except perhaps the first. Her actions were driven by a deep sense of duty and humanity. She exemplified the belief that Jews, just as much as gentiles, were active in rescue operations.
Listen to this weeks episode to hear about this incredibly heroic woman.
