Growth in life is similar- it takes time to develop strong value systems, character and become the best functioning person one is created to be by God. This means in life's development, humans fail and make mistakes. As Christians, there is great encouragement from God and His Word when one own failures, sins or mistakes through repentance and redemption. God forgives completely through His character and never holds any owned failure, sin or mistake against you. However, humans are not like that.
