Can understanding trauma transform the way we address homelessness? In this episode, we also discuss the development of the Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) Test and how our team has conducted research with it to better understand those we serve. Through this research, in partnership with the Psychology Department from Washburn University, we have the incredible opportunity to share our findings at the upcoming American Psychological Association's national conference. We celebrate this milestone and the dedication of our team members who tirelessly work to spread hope and healing. From the origins of our internal studies to the broader implications for policies and laws related to homelessness, this episode underscores the importance of addressing the root causes of trauma.
